The Saturday walk was up Pen-Y-Fan near Brecon. The views from the top of this 886m mountain weren’t the best I’ve seen due to the weather but still impressive as Pen-y-Fan has a flat top with very step sides. Even though the day ended with rain it was still a very good achievement by all. The evening was laced with chicken and pasta along with helpings of beer.
Sunday we tackled a local mountain near Abervagenny, Table Mountain. This proved to be an extremely interesting day as the wind had got up and made walking up the mountain a battle. The weekend was enjoyed by all and hopefully we will be able to organise another for next year.

Next Year: I’m thinking of organising two events, one similar to this year but also a pub walking weekend if people are interested.
